Rotaract International Dinner

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our International Dinner will be held on Saturday 21st of July at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start. This will be a three course meal event of Entree, Main and Desert, with wine and assorted non-alcoholic drinks on offer.

The idea is that each member brings a plate of food that will be organised and some friends to help celebrate the event. For added guests a donation for charity purposes will be asked for and it will be a chance for hillarity, entertainment and a chance to learn some smutty French :P

Red Shield Appeal Meeting (Information Session)

When: 15th May at 1:00pm – 1:30pm
Where: Social Sciences G208 (near oak lawn, the room we have been in all year)
What: An information session on the charity we are doorknocking for, so for our benefit
Special: Guest Speaker from Red Shield Appeal talking about our upcoming doorknock appeal.

Red Shield DoorKnock Appeal

When: 20th May 2007 at 10:00am – 12:00am
Where: Meeting at UWA Reid Carpark where we will then disperse to Doorknock
What: Just involves knocking on a few doors to raise money for the Salvation Army (just see the attached flyer for more info)
Why: Because we're good people willing to help out a great cause.
Special: FREE BBQ after the event for all volunteers; including healthy salad, drinks and sweets!! We need as many ppl as possible

Becoming Jane Synopsis
A portrait of a growing Jane Austen. played by Anne Hathoway (The Devil Wears Prada) in a dramatic story where shades of Jane Austens books are reflected in the movie.

From budding romance, action and the burden of class, imposed by Lady Gresham played by Maggy Smith this film is a thrilling exploration of a much loved heroine whose story is yet to be told except through her novels.

Pizza Meeting

This is our first real meeting where we will start to get things organised, with the elections to be had at our next meeting, due to guild reasons. There will be pizza and drinks at this meeting and we will try and get to know each other and figure out what the year will be like. So bring your friends.
